Independence, flexibility, mobile, seeing a variety of patients. Supportive, helpful management

Cons

Compensation is based on visits, so there is pressure to get billable visits done vs doing what is best for the patient. Many providers are doing charting after hours, adding to your workload.

Poor pay (laughable), ZERO work-life balance, working well over 40 hours to keep up with their ridiculous demands, poor management-micromanaged daily…for-profit healthcare at it’s worst. They make promises of freedom, work-life balance, flexibility but that all changes without any notifications.

The only pearl to this company is flexibility that’s the only reason people stay.

Cons

Poor benefits, low salary, no CME, no bonus potential, micromanaging punitive actions Management has no involvement or concern for employee retention There is NO work life balance, the current model for provider and medical assistant help does not work, providers role is now secretarial, and patient care along with ridiculous amount of extra paperwork. Many providers work until midnight and weekends, providers that don’t have inadequate documentation.
