Years ago employees were much happier, but that has sadly changed. Current Management pretends to be supportive but us far from. More often then not departments are understaffed. Everyone gets the same pay increase which means zero incentive, & it has recently become one of the lowest paying in the area.

I enjoy working at Evergreen as an Occupational Therapist for the past several years. The other therapists are team oriented. You can take advantage of opportunities to grow by teaching, sitting on hospital wide committees and train and provide coverage on other units. One other advantage, parking is free.

Cons

Weekend shifts are shared among staff.

Being a apart of the healthcare world. It's a very clean. Most departments works well with other departments. Never a dull moment.

Cons

Benefits are costly for family of three or more. Lack of choice of benefits, having to request time off dates turned in twice a year.
