Pros

There are genuine people who care within the company. There are people who are driven to help others.

Cons

I used to believe in the mission and want to help others that was until this company drained every little bit of life that I had left. They do not care about the people at the bottom. I have noticed time and time again the greed from upper management when it comes to the people doing the hardest work (call center employees) They overwork, underpay and refuse to LISTEN to the opinions of others who do not wear a job title that they consider important. Barely above minimum wage for delivering life changing results to a patient over the phone? HA.... what a joke! There is no diversity here, its insulting sitting in a meeting of 20, 30+ people and being the only person of color. They put on a big act with their DEI group but they are not making a difference. Take it from experience, there are bullies here. If you are not a favorite of said bullies your life will be miserable. All they do is take, take and no matter how hard you work that will never be enough. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. They will continue to pile work on your plate until you have no free time or your mental/physical health deteriorates

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. We strive to be a best-in-class workplace and grow from the feedback we receive from current and previous employees. Everly Health surveys its employees twice per year and provides regular opportunities for employees to submit feedback to organizational leaders. Our CEO, Executive Team, and leaders within our People team all review the feedback received, and partner with organizational leaders to create action plans for areas of improvement. The experience you describe is not where we desire to be; we will continue acting upon the regular feedback that we receive from past and present employees to continuously improve. In 2022, we expanded our benefits program, adding additional health and wellness opportunities for employees. In addition, we are introducing bonus plans for all employees and compensation adjustments this month as part of our annual performance review cycle. We are also introducing career ladders and levels for all positions in the organization. We are fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in alignment with our mission, vision, and values as an organization, and we’re sorry that wasn’t seen during your time here. We regularly evaluate our efforts based on a broad scope of diversity dimensions for a high level of accountability throughout the organization, including in our recruiting and marketing materials. We’ll continue to work on this as we are committed to doing better. Thank you again for sharing this feedback.

Pros

-They hire within a lot. Room for growth. -pay is competitive -progressive company with awesome CEO that is very active with all employees. Really, the executive team is amazing, unlike any I’ve experienced before. Corporate culture is among the best. -promising future, job security -Really great co-workers -flexible -good place to start if you need lab hours for chemistry and/or light molecular experience for certification.

Cons

-Major growing pains, work flows and procedure need work. -Assay development is still very much in progress. You will spend a lot of time re-analyzing large amounts of samples. You hardly ever have a day where all assays are working correctly. -About 50% of the supervisors know what they are doing. The ones that don’t are REALLY bad. They tend to put people in charge that have little to no experience. -Wouldn’t recommend to MLS/MLT degreed generalists. Could loose good lab habits and/or skills or may even get bored. There is only a chemistry and a light automated molecular department. -PTO gets denied a lot -There is a lot of waste within the laboratory. It’s kind of sad. Lots of room for cost savings.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback for our EverlyDx teams. We strive for excellence in our lab operations and were recently recognized with CAP accreditation for our lab operations. Your experience highlights some key areas of opportunity. Under the leadership of our Chief Laboratory Officer, who was hired in 2021, we will continue to evaluate and work on our processes. Everly Health surveys its employees twice per year, and our CEO, Executive Team, and leaders within our People team all review the feedback received. Then, organizational leaders create action plans for areas of improvement. What you describe is not where we desire to be; we will continue acting upon the regular feedback that we receive from past and present employees to continuously improve. Again, thank you for sharing your experience.
