The people there believe they can make a difference

Cons

It took some time to realize that I was working in constant fear, I could not bear to think that I took a job in a broken company, but I did. Everywhere I looked, things did not add up. My co-workers were depressed, sick, and scared. There is no strategic focus and the leadership team is downright scary smart in their manipulation of employees. An ethical audit is needed.

Pros

As a laboratory scientists, I find the work that I perform at EW both innovative and rewarding. The ability to research and develop tests is an exciting challenge and enhances my critical thinking skills. The detail orientation to the way the tests are performed meets my standard of quality and meets the gold standard of laboratory accrediting agencies. Upper management is extremely collaborative with middle management which helps to constantly promote a healthy working environment. The communication gap between the two locations that was once heavy has now tremendously improved.
