      Pros

      I've been with the company for 12 years and have had a variety of opportunities to work on interesting projects with smart people.

      Cons

      Very fast paced work environment. However, makes for many opportunities to learn new things, which is great!

      Pros

      This company has it all. It has the perfect blend of that ideal "team" environment, while still being able contribute individually to the larger picture. Employees are challenged in their roles, but never over-worked. I have grown so much since I first joined the company. Like most energy companies, the salaries are great, and the benefits are out of this world. The employees care about their work, as well as each other, which makes coming to work exciting each day.

      Cons

      It is very difficult to think of any major cons at Eversource. Moving into new roles at other companies can often be a challenge, and not always work out as planned. After joining the Eversource team a few years ago, I can tell you that the grass is certainly greener here, and was the perfect career choice.

      Pros

      GREAT people, important work, opportunities for advancement, consistent raises/bonuses, extremely stable company. One of best utilities in US.

      Cons

      Public doesn't usually appreciate the effort and creativity that goes into managing the power grid. We have NOTHING to do with higher heating costs (that's the energy suppliers) but try explaining that to your neighbors -- it's tough!
