      Pros

      Great pay, great people. Eversource is going through a transitional period where they are leveraging new and better technologies to increase their customer’s satisfaction. It’s an exciting time to be involved in the changes.

      Cons

      Some employees are still feeling residual effects from a merger that started in 2012. Some departments have poor moral, because they did not adapt well to some of the changes made.

      Pros

      The pay and particularly the benefits are outstanding and the work is very interesting. As much as I at times dreaded working I would go back tomorrow. The local management is good and are good people. The people of the company are great.

      Cons

      The required hours of work are regressive, you will be working long hours which is why the pay is great. But they are notoriously understaffed at all times which can create safety issues in my opinion.

      Good pay, standard benefits.

      Cons

      Top down leadership, antiquated 1980s intimidation style management. Presidents directing workers on the field. Demanding hours with no compensation for extra hours put in. Quick to point blame when issues arise instead of actually finding the root cause. Eversource believes employees have to much time off. HR president actually said this to employees. Culture of fear exists throughout the management chain. Ideas of employees are not valued and brushed aside.
