Pros

I've been working in digital marketing for years now and have done so in a variety of industries on both the agency and client side. Having said that, Everyday Health has hands down been the best place I've worked for a litany of reasons. Here are just a handful of reasons why: - Great team members! My team is hands down the most supportive team I've ever had and I am never made to feel stupid for asking questions which is a big deal considering a past job I've had was notorious about that. The other teams I work with (and I work with almost every team on the Pro side) are the same way. - Everyone is truly open to hearing your ideas and actually takes them seriously. - The communication throughout my interviewing process was great! Which is not typical in my experience with other jobs I've applied for. - Also, I was greatly impressed during the interview process with how punctual they were with the meetings. If the meeting invite said 30 minutes, they respected that and didn't go over it. - There is also a ton of opportunity for internal moving throughout the entire Ziff portfolio, not just in the Everyday Health Group, which is great, and it's not just something they say; it's the truth. - There are tons of opportunities, too, to connect with teammates despite being remote. You just have to take those opportunities. - My team, and all the teams I work with, always seem to be working to update our systems and such to make things better and faster for all of us involved. They aren't just making changes to make changes. Upper management sees or hears of an issue and puts in the work to make positive changes. - Finally, the most important one for me is that they mean it when they say they respect family. I have a toddler, and every person I've dealt with has always been respectful of my time and flexible should things need to shift due to my little one getting sick or something like that.

Cons

This is truly just a personal thing, but they use Lenovo computers, and I prefer Mac. But at least my computer showed up before I started my first day, and they have been great about getting me extra monitors or anything else I need to do my work.

Pros

The people were great at least on my team. WLB was great.

Cons

Company works kind of like a vulture fund that buys distressed companies, sucks them dry by laying off their employees, then leaves the subsidiaries running in a zombie-like state. Leaves questions regarding long term viability and job security.
