Pros

I think probably one of the best things about the company is that it focuses on a very dynamic growth area (online health information) that I am pretty sure will only continue to grow as the audience of consumers for online health information continues to grow.

Cons

I noticed in the last year of my employment that I and my former colloeagues were continually hearing from the top level of management (ALMOST ALL OF WHOM were newcomers to the organization) about how the employees of EHI were the most valuable and important asset to the firm...and yet when it came to treatment of same (such as in ensuring that annual reviews and also more frequent feedback to employees was happening) they were falling flat. It's great to hear all the cheer leading about the value of employees...but when employees are truly experiencing no real substance behind the message ("the emperor has no clothes") coming from management it creates terrible morale.

Pros

Great people and talent work and have worked at EVDY. EVDY has a great value proposition and the ability to connect patients, caregivers, HCPs and the pharmaceutical industry to greatly improve medical education, improve the lives of patients and families and to be a place/resource for community, support and information. It is the right place at the right time to make a difference. EVDY manages to hire some of the most talented and committed people.

Cons

Very bad culture of mistrust and not living values much less just common sense business practice. Leadership is wanting at the top and continues to work as a net. Many more experienced and capable leaders have been hired to join the executive team. None of those people have been allowed to do the things they were hired to do nor did the rest of senior management heed their experienced advice. Employees are not treated with respect nor valued either. This leads to a culture that is suspicious and wanting. EVDY has lost sight of its value proposition to all constituents. It's shareholder value and the the stock price have slid dramatically since going public in 2015. It's such a shame the upper leadership has squandered its opportunity. The results are obvious in the market and the constant change and turnover. Further, it is a shame that the leadership has no regard for employees, their contributions or their lives. It's an ethical nightmare.
