Talented employees trying to change health care delivery

-Some of the most talented coworkers I have ever come across, it can almost be intimidating. People come from the top tier consulting firms, hospitals, etc. -People here genuinely strive to and believe that they are helping to change the way health care is delivered in the US and it is very inspiring and rewarding. -Great culture and benefits - open concept office, healthy snacks in the kitchen, treadmill desks, collaborative team rooms, ample PTO and flexible schedule

Cons

-Since they are such a new company, Evolent is still trying to figure out some of its procedures, teams, and job descriptions, but there is more effort put to these causes than at other very established companies I have worked.

I cannot say enough great things about this company and its employees. Everyone here is extremely bright, accomplished, and welcoming. Goals and vision are clearly articulated by management and everyone makes themselves extremely accessible. Even as the company has continued to grow rapidly, the overall positive environment, passion employees, and flat structure continue to define us.

Cons

Very fast-paced right now, due to the overall growth. Flexibility is a must to work here.

Evolent is an extremely exciting, fast-paced company to work for. Everyone is very motivated and focused on improving health care quality, efficiency and access for our clients. Working here has provided an incredible opportunity to learn about the health and insurance industries down to the most granular level. Senior leadership is very open, friendly, and accessible, and there is a strong focus on a healthy, balanced work environment.

Cons

It's difficult to predict what your schedule will be even a few days in advance, so planning (work or personal) is hard. As such, flexibility is an important attribute to have.
