Pros

Very innovative corporation. Decent pay, great benefits.

Cons

Moves slowly as most large corporations do. HQ is in Germany, thus very little chance for advancement in the US. They tend to move German employees around for grooming for management. But, if you like what you do and enjoy where you are in your career - this is a good company.

Pros

High level of corporate responsibility regarding environmental, safety and quality issues which extends to good working conditions and benefits for employees. Great coworkers.

Cons

Career development is tricky if you don't work in Germany or have the desire to move there. Some departments are overly bureaucratic and political. Very German culture (can be positive and negative).

The company is a large organization with multiple business lines serving a number of markets. So if you are bored with one area one could conceivably switch over to another business line.

Cons

The businesses work in a silo so the organization has not fully utilized its synergies. This also limits innovation due to lack of idea exchange. Salaries are in the low-end for a large corporation.
