Pros
Some of the people I have met and the places I have seen.
Cons
The office actually asked people to come on here and leave good reviews because they can’t get people to come to work here!! News flash: if you were a good company you wouldn’t have to ask!! but there really isnt anything good to say about this company and it starts at the CEO level. Mean and hateful communication between office and field techs. In the office they lie to the new MMP field techs then send them out in the field where they become angry. Long hours with often times less than 8 hours between shifts. The only scheduled break is lunch and if you get backed up because of technical difficulties you don’t get lunch. ZERO bathroom breaks!!! They took out the microwaves so no more hot lunches for you poor souls still stuck out there!!! 10 - 12 hour days with no way to heat food!! 1 vehicle to share between sometimes 6 techs. You travel together, work together and stay in same hotel together. Home three weeks a year. Always hearing complaints about the use of the van. Can’t really do anything on weekends unless you rent a car because you only get the van for 2 hours at a time, and lots of weekends it has to be used for airport runs so it isn’t available anyway. Truck driver/techs forced to lie on logs. They say they want to make things better for field techs yet do NOTHING to improve. Antiquated equipment that malfunctions daily, Home made software you have to fight with daily, They should let EVERYONE go on rotation not just the truck drivers and OHS!! There is no training for MMP staff. They send people into the field and expect the Unit Manager and crew to train them while running their own station. They have started hiring Unit Managers from outside the company instead of promoting from within. They don’t recognize seniority in any way!! Lots of good people quit because of low pay, unreasonable hours and favoritism, lies and backstabbing. Raises are nil! Any good reviews you read on here are probably from Office personnel. They certainly are not from the people working out in the field. Required to wear steel toe shoes and stand on your feet for 12 hours a day inside the mobile Unit. And the pay!! Let’s not forget that the MMP techs make anywhere from 8.00 to 9.00 dollars per hour. They sell you on overtime and per diems, then scrutinize every minute that your manager turns in. Then if they don't agree they will deduct that from your hours. You are basically supposed to give up your life, live and breathe Examinetics without compensation. All office personnel should be required to come work on the mobile Unit, under the same circumstances as the field techs, no rental, wearing the ugly baggy scrubs and steel toe boots and work the same hours as the field techs for at least a month!!! Then maybe, just maybe, things would start to improve out there.
