Pros

Travel, work on your own most of the time, quarterly bonus, home most weekends, if you work rotation instead of hourly you work 4 weeks on 1 week off (paid) and if you work your week off you also get a bonus, matching 401k (recently reinstated), accrued personal time off, direct deposit payroll and per diem checks.

Cons

lack of communication from office to field techs (but is improving) funky hours depending on the client, funky routes sometimes, per diem's for meals could be higher, hotel per diems could also be higher in some states but is improving.

Nice Co-workers, But....

Pros

Most co-workers are dedicated friendly people. Some middle managers are also dedicated, friendly people.

Cons

Very little room for advancement. Very much a good old boys club in upper management. Company objectives, failures, successes are kept from anyone not in management. No pay increases for years. "Down-sizing" putting more work on less people with no additional compensation. Constant concern about keeping the job even if a stellar performer. Pay and benefits low - many not able to afford company health insurance. No 401K matching.
