Pros

-Excellent benefits -Remote work (for a while) -Investment in you as an employee. You'll get out of Exelon what you put into it (in a good way) -Interesting work, and peers that care about you. Investment in DEI that is not just lip service

Cons

-Meetings. The amount of meetings, and the hot air uttered in them, could solve our grid problems if harnessed properly. -Worklife balance and workload was atrocious in our area. The expectation to unscoped work was just to "get it done". -Infighting between departments can be soul-crushing, putting prestige or visibility over mission

Pros

Absolutely none at all - ZERO.

Cons

Executive leadership is out of touch. Leadership is all talk - the company claims their employees are what's most important, yet at the same time IT project work continues to go to contractors leaving employees at risk. Do NOT trust anything a senior leader says. Pay is below market. Ridiculous in office requirements which are absolutely useless. Change management - the worst I have ever seen.

Thank you for your feedback. We encourage you to share your concerns prior to the next quarterly all-hands meeting. You can submit questions/comments anonymously on the company intranet. With regard to pay, we strive to offer compensation that is competitive within both the utility sector and the broader industry. We regularly benchmark and review prevalent practices to ensure our Total Rewards package meets the needs of our employees and reflects market trends. Specifically, we evaluate each component of compensation—including base salary, bonuses, and long-term incentives— to ensure fairness and equity, while supporting our pay-for-performance philosophy. We are committed to providing a supportive and flexible work environment that fosters growth and development.
