Great company with some personality flaws

Pros

During my tenure, I experienced a great culture throughout the organization and I had a lot of interesting opportunities and experience that have enabled me to grow as a professional. Energy is an exciting industry and Exelon has a very clear organizational governance and operations structure. Many of the people are very committed to the company and willing to work together to advance a cause.

Cons

There was not a clear path to advancement and promotions did not appear to be merit-based. If they haven't already, a 360 review process could help fix some of the management issues experienced.

Great pay. Good benefits. Low requirements to entry level position. Job security. Decent time off. Great tuition reimbursement. Not many others

Cons

Hours are tough. Major mismanagement. Lack of ability to lateral transfer. Treated like you are a number instead of a valued asset to the company.
