Pros

Great Company with great benefits. Hard work is awarded.. Company has strong guiding principle on diversity of thought and leadership. Exelon is a great place to start and end your career.

Cons

Exelon needs to develop a strong rotational and growth program for its employees. Knowing what it takes to move to the next level in the organization is not clearly defined. They have begun to start this process with the Business Talent Reviews (BTR's) but need to get this information back to its employees and into their Individual Development Plans.

Pros

- Very competitive benefits package, which has also been available to GLBT partners for a while now. - Because it is both *huge* and diversified, the company manages to weather market volatility better than some.

Cons

- Because it is both *huge* and diversified, the company doesn't really have a mission that employees can at least pretend to embrace. "Delivering shareholder value" just doesn't inspire positive culture. - There are more contractors than employees, which insulates employees from market volatility, but sometimes results in dramatic headcount fluctuations.
