      Safety conscious work environment

      Pros

      1. Safety is at the center of everything they do. 2. There are procedures for everything that is done to allow for consistent effort/performance. 3. There is a lot of room for growth within the company. 4. Everyone is constantly improving and finding ways to improving the plant/fleet through a questioning attitude and finding/fixing problems.

      Cons

      1. The vision of the company changes each year and by site. 2. Communication between levels and sites could be improved. 3. Retirement versus knowledge turnover could be improved.

      Great Company to Work For

      Pros

      Training and advancement is encouraged. Leadership has a long range vision and doesn't drive from quarter to quarter. The plants have a fix it right and fix it once culture. Temporary repairs are only in place long enough to fix things right.

      Cons

      The training and qualification process is built for people new to the industry and can be challenging to those bringing in experience from other companies in the electric industry. People seem a little set in their ways.

      Pros

      Work Environment with team is great, some sharing knowledge, experience and shadowing is provided. Allowing new employees time to learn the specific business is also good.

      Cons

      Access to systems is extremely slow which impedes ability to gain knowledge thru training and reviewing material.
