      Pros

      Pay is not bad. Locations of the plants are horrendous so unless you have a family, don't consider working at one of their plants

      Cons

      Stressful work environment, administrative work. Job that you do is actually not what the job description entails. Mindless training for a year prior to ctually starting getting work.

      Good benefits; diverse business units

      Exelon is a company in complete conflict. On one hand, they tout themselves as diverse, inclusive and 'zero tolerance' for inappropriate behavior. In reality, culture is dominated by white males who are highly exclusive due to the highly political culture and inappropriate behavior is tolerated because Senior Management turns a blind eye to it when it's not politically advantageous for them to act. Previous post Director in Chicago office was spot on. We have quality leaders who are leaving or looking to leave because they are not politically connected and are not males.
