Pros

Large company with a lot of weight and power in the industry. Located in the heart of the city with offices all over the nation if relocation is in your future. Good opportunities and innovation is encouraged.

Cons

A lot of the problems with large companies are shown here such as red tape and seeking to please those above you.

Pros

Transparency of the leadership team, great package(pay, perk and previelege), The managers are considerate to employees vaccation days. It's a great place to work with alot of diversity in culture and thoughts. The company has good training programmes and they let you participate in Industry conferences and seminars. There is a lot of learning opportunities for everybody here.

Cons

Exelon is a large organization and sometimes finding the subject matter expert may become a challenge.

Pros

-- solid company in a dependable industry -- flexible work schedules in professional roles -- Compensation is actively benchmarked against industry, so pay is (by design) average for large corporations. But since the benchmark is against large corporations, when compared to all available job options in the area the pay is actually pretty decent in my opinion. -- well defined policies for EVERYTHING -- lots of room to move around the company, I have gotten to rotate to new job every 1-3 years. Or you could stay in the same job the whole time if you prefer. -- Easy for "high performers" to get ahead and progress in career without changing companies

Cons

-- Benefits actively benchmarked against industry, so benefits are (by design) average, I've seen much better benefits in gov or other private sector jobs, but our benefits are not the worst. -- Work Life balance is tough, in order to be a "high performer" you are going to be working about 20% overtime -- Change Management is non existant, you are lucky if you get an email about a change that is coming and will affect you. The company could do a much better jobs with communicating change.
