Pros

The company will make money in spite of itself. With those margins it can't help but make money. Imagine what could be done with a competent CEO.

Cons

Until there's a change at the top, no one can feel safe that 1) their contributions are valued and 2) that you can disagree with executive leadership and keep your job. It's funny that HR actively solicits employees to make positive glassdoor.com reviews because the honest feedback is making it tough to recruit new people.

Pros

Nothing at all anymore. Used to be a fantastic company to work for. However, Blackstone and their greed have ripped apart what used to be a close knit family

Cons

Tom Anderson. Attempting to run a fast paced, independent, sub-prime auto finance company as if it were a call center. You can't do that. You can not automate credit decisions on sub 550 credit scores. He has absolutely zero knowledge about the industry, has terrible people skills, and horrible at motivating what used to be a very talented team (see Automotive news article where he calls people "dumb"). The company made some poor decisions prior to bringing in Tom however, including hiring an incompetent 3 headed monster (Senior VP and 2 VP's underneath him) to implement a sales team that quite frankly wasn't then, and isn't now, very good. The leaders in charge of this department didn't allocate resources properly and wasted millions of company funds. The sales leaders seemed more intent on "seeing the country" rather than focusing on education of dealers in regards to using the program.
