Exeter's best days are likely behind it.

Pros

Started as an assembly of the industry's best and brightest and was ready to take on the world with an infectious entrepreneurial spirit, industry experience, great dealer relations, and and a work/life balance that was unsurpassed.

Cons

Under the new leadership team, employees at all levels now come to work wondering if this is the day they will be laid off. The myriad layoffs in many cases appear to be salary, not competency, based. At the same time the wrong people are being laid off, the wrong people are being promoted. The dealers are wary to do business with Exeter and moral is at an all time low.

Pros

This was a great remote location with some of the best, and brightest people in the industry. I was able to obtain a great wealth of knowledge while working here. The benefits were outstanding, and the office environment was great.

Cons

Lack of corporate leadership, direction and support. There is an overall sense of abandonment, and everyone is in fear of loosing their jobs. This company has closed all of the remote locations, regardless of volume and profitability, displacing great people across the country. The new leadership is completely disconnected from the people that built this company from the ground up.

Pros

benefits are actually OKAY somewhat

Cons

Nothing.. they parade around talking about how much money they have made yet have layoffs due to not having money 1 week into a pandemic. Worse than Santander! They will be out of business soon. Someone told me that before I started working there and now that I have seen for myself, I believe it. I am now a funding manager at another company and have been starting to take their good employees. Don't worry... I'm not taking your golden children like Ashlyn or Alex. You can have those that break rules in order just to be at the top. Funny because they know the employees that do unethical things just to be at the top... and they get praised for it.
