Pros

Nothing at all anymore. Used to be a fantastic company to work for. However, Blackstone and their greed have ripped apart what used to be a close knit family

Cons

Tom Anderson. Attempting to run a fast paced, independent, sub-prime auto finance company as if it were a call center. You can't do that. You can not automate credit decisions on sub 550 credit scores. He has absolutely zero knowledge about the industry, has terrible people skills, and horrible at motivating what used to be a very talented team (see Automotive news article where he calls people "dumb"). The company made some poor decisions prior to bringing in Tom however, including hiring an incompetent 3 headed monster (Senior VP and 2 VP's underneath him) to implement a sales team that quite frankly wasn't then, and isn't now, very good. The leaders in charge of this department didn't allocate resources properly and wasted millions of company funds. The sales leaders seemed more intent on "seeing the country" rather than focusing on education of dealers in regards to using the program.

Pros

casual working environment, benefits start within 30 days, room for growth and advancement, open to suggestions, hands-on training provided, friendly management staff, 1 hr lunch break.

Cons

Frequent policy changes, guidelines around using Pto/sick time could be better, bonus checks no more than $800 on average.

Pros

This is a dynamic company with a lot of talent and drive. All of the department heads are helpful and cooperative in getting corporate initiatives accomplished and goals met.

Cons

As with most companies moving towards an IPO, there is difficulty balancing short-term profits with long-term infrastructure growth.
