Thank you for your service with Exeter and for leaving us a review. We’re sorry to hear that this was your experience. One of our top priorities is to create as much opportunity as possible for our employees driven through several internal mobility programs, such as our Accelerating Excellence program. In addition, we work hard to regularly evaluate compensation to ensure we pay all employees fairly and competitively relative to the market and our competitors. Again, thank you for your feedback, and we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

Great company but lower level management is not so great

Pros

I really like this company! The company culture is almost the best I have ever seen. The C-suites are great! Could there be improvement, sure. They want to invest in their employees at least the c-suites like to convey that message. The diversity of this company is fantastic.

Cons

Some people in lower management do not deserve to be. Just because you have been with the company for a few years does not mean you have what it takes to manage people. My manager is not good! He does not know how to manage people! The marks of a good manager/leader is to equip your team with everything they need to be successful and to get to the next level! My manager does not do that! I've been doomed since I started! Our team is not treated equally! My manager tends to favor the person their boss favors. I have been successful at all of my jobs except for this and that because my boss has never trained me! It's sad that I really like the company but I am starting my job search because I want to be successful in my career/role and if I stay a part of my current team I'll end up fired because I am ill-equipped for the role that I am currently in and that is all because of the lack of training that I have never received. It's too bad because I'm a darn good employee who wants to be successful.
