Pros

- Good Training Environment - Good Incentives - Make good friends while working there. - Opportunity for career growth

Cons

- Preferential treatment - Commission structure isn't the best until you hit the upper brackets (contract) - Accusations on the way out of the business with no proof (multiple accusations that were then told to people across the business) -Promised me a meeting to go over the final issues but never happened and never gave me an exit meeting to discuss the reasons why i wanted to leave with head of people. -When (if) leaving, dont expect to receive your commission as all "Commission is discretionary"

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, and we are sort to hear your exit interview has not yet been conducted, this may have been an unfortunate miscommunication internally as they are an important part in our process and for people to share their feedback. Please contact our head of people directly and we'll get it scheduled

Pros

- weekly fruit basket - hours aren't bad, but you are expected to stay longer most of the time or get someone saying "you should have stayed if you didnt get it done" -a hand full of nice people -you get your picture on the TV when you do a deal , yay - new training isn't bad if you have a good memory

Cons

- you know there's a problem when 13 people leave in 3 MONTHS!!! - if you aren't happy with your market or anything, they wont care. they will just push you out the company - very old school recruitment that doesn't work - constantly being micromanaged even though they ask you how you want to be managed - YES bulling is a big problem and disciplinaries aren't even a thing if you've been there for many years.(it all get swept under the rug) - Expect them to gossip about you - managers dont do much so have loads of free time to have meetings about you to try and pick apart what you are doing wrong and instead of help you only give you heat for it. - they want quantity over quality - if this is your first job you'll think what they are doing is normal but guess again -You wont choose what you want to do and wont get to move if unhappy in the market , baring in mind some markets are terrible for money compared to other(not equal at all, so dont expect lots of money like they tell you) - overall, just dont bother getting a job their even if its just for experience go somewhere else their is many other better recruitment companies!!!

You are absolutely right. One of our internal initiatives has been to give the hardworking internal family at Explore an external voice, the people who are thriving and happy are all still here and we want to share their experience and success with prospective new employees, so we have absolutely encouraged staff to write reviews, alongside those of former staff. With regard to several of the comments I the above review, we have a formal disciplinary process which is treated very seriously with any complaints being investigated in full. This year we have launched our Leadership Development programme to support out ethos of internal organic growth. We support equal opportunities for all staff and diverse progression routes, as leadership skills are vital to a businesses success we now teach these to out future leaders to compliment their great sales ability. Please do not hesitate to contact us directly to correct any of the misjudgements listed above. thanks Explore Group

Pros

I've been here for a year and a half now and the change I've seen in that time has been astounding. There's a really friendly atmosphere with everyone really eager to learn and do their very best for their candidates, clients and their own teams. Everyone is supported now even at times when the going gets tough and the sense that we are all on a journey together where everyone is important is truly refreshing. It's also great to see some of the new reviews from our candidates and clients who seem to like our friendly approach too. Explore seem to be doing the right thing and I'm excited to see where we'll end up (or maybe I'm just still buzzing from the AGM)

Cons

It's not an easy life being a recruiter and it is seriously hard work. Saying that - some of our new consultants are doing incredibly well because they're consistently working hard and using what they've learnt in their training. If you're prepared to learn and listen and work hard it's the perfect job - not everyone can or wants to tick those boxes however (or sometimes stay late until they've got the result they want).
