Pros

I worked for Explore Group for over 2 years, it was my first ever full-time job and I had no recruitment experience. From day 1 the management was great and very supportive, even when I was a Senior consultant in the team I was still receiving help from management to ensure that I did everything I can to hit my monthly target. Another great thing about working for Explore Group is the amount of money you can earn. During my time at Explore Group my salary doubled and I hit rollover which meant I hit car target and was given a brand new Mercedes - not bad for a 23 year old!!! They also offer great holiday incentives such as trips to Las Vegas, Cancun, Barcelona etc. In addition to this they run weekly breakfast clubs and monthly lunch clubs to some of the best restaurants in London! Another positive about working for Explore Group is the other consultants in the office, everyone gets on really well and are all sociable outside of work. They have weekly football managers between Perm team and Contract team which can get competitive but good fun! Everyone is free for a quick pint on a Friday after work which is nice before you head home for the weekend!

Cons

The only downside to work for Explore Group is the long hours but this is standard across the recruitment industry. However if you work hard do you see the rewards with good pay checks, brand new Mercedes and holidays to Las Vegas!

Pros

Having worked in many different sales styled roles from tech, digital, property and now recruitment I can certainly say this offers the best work-life-balance and encourages a healthier lifestyle, it seems, unlike many companies that Explore invest in their staff because ultimately they know if their health is affected, so is the business. This type of work suits a certain type of people, you need to be motivated, hungry and willing to put the work in but if you do it pays off massively, this can be seen not just here but at all companies with a similar model, yet Explore, certainly offer the best benefits and career training up front - which could be seen as a risk to them. Generally the people who complain about sales/recruitment are the people who are not cut out for it, with over 12 years of experience in different industries, I can honestly say I wouldn't change my mind on working in these environments, you always learn, you grow and yes times can get hard but ultimately I love what I see and what I do within these industries.

Cons

Working hours will always come into this section but realistically in this industry and any sales industry in general, the time you put in, is what you get back out - if your not willing to do the time, then don't expect to make the money.

Pros

The company is growing very quickly and its a really great thing to be apart of! The mentality in the office is great, its a fast paced and a really good atmosphere everyone smashing deals and helping each other out!

Cons

In recruitment you already know that theses going to be long hours. you get out what you put in, if you want to do well in recruitment you have to put the effort in to get the rewards.
