Pros

Management is always helpful and nice, they care about their employees are always willing to help with whatever you need. Management is always doing something for employees, (took employees to NYC to see the buildings we've been helping work on, surprise breakfast, games, contests, just remodeled a second break room with games in there for employees etc). Never a dull moment! Work/life balance is very good. I've learned quite a bit about accounting during my time here, the Accounting Assistant role is great for people still in college/right out of college. Paid time off/sick days/paid holidays/tuition assistance.

Cons

Fast paced environment so can be stressful at times. Takes awhile for promotions/raises.

Pros

Extell Financial Services is a great place to work! Everyone is very friendly and the leadership is committed to providing a team oriented environment. I am somewhat newer to Extell and was initially nervous about what training and onboarding would be like while working at home during COVID but I receive a lot of support from my manager and other staff. Everyone is willing to help at any given moment which I really appreciate. I also feel like my work is appreciated and I receive consistent, constructive feedback. They also allow you to really take ownership of the projects you're given so you gain a lot of knowledge and experience very quickly and have a sense of accomplishment at the end of the day. It is also very fun to be part of and see the development of the luxury residential properties. At past companies I've felt like sometimes I was just doing busy work but at Extell, seeing the luxury developments and all of the projects, you really feel like your work is actually making an impact and is appreciated.

Cons

It is fast paced and you may be working on a lot of projects at once but the days go by so fast and there is such a sense of camaraderie and "we're all in this together" that you don't feel like it's always falling solely on your shoulders. I personally enjoy having multiple projects at once because it prevents my work from becoming monotonous.
