      Challenging Environment with Great Opportunities

      Pros

      EFS has a challenging environment and you will be expected to give your all. You will have opportunities to experience all facets of the accounting process as well as improve your skills. Extell has made me an accountant with valuable skills in my professional career! I also work with great people and have an awesome team.

      Cons

      Extell has a less flexible environment than some which might not be the best fit for everyone. This is also not a place to slack off and coast so if you are looking for an easy going, easy job EFS is probably not the best place for you.

      Accounting - Exciting Place to Work!

      Pros

      There aren't many careers available in Louisville (let alone Kentucky) which allow you to work on projects that change the skyline in one of the largest cities in the world, New York City! At Extell, you have the opportunity to work on projects that are building some of the most beautiful buildings/ski scrapers in the world. There is so much growth potential at Extell Financial Services and you are allowed to grow with your projects since some could take years to complete. Not only do the projects make this such an amazing place to work, but also the people! We all work together to achieve our goals and have fun while doing it. Upper management has really tried to focus more on the employee experience after this past year (2020 pandemic) and they really care about your growth not only with Extell but professionally. Highly recommend to anyone that is driven, enjoys the fast pace environment, and looking to grow in this real estate development industry!

      It is deadline driven, fast paced, and cyclical (monthly close). However, some people thrive in this environment.

      Extell Financial Services provides a unique work environment for those living in Louisville, KY which allows us to work on some of New York's most prestigious real estate developments. Management truly cares about their employees and the team that we get to work with are always willing to help each other and step in when the workload gets heavy. Extell offers great benefits and a rewarding environment for their employees.

      Cons

      Can be stressful with tight deadlines and heavy workloads, but working with a team that is willing to step in and help each other out makes it manageable and rewarding.
