Pros

Group health benefits for full time and decent bonus plans for managers. Relatively easy workload due to most properties having fewer rooms than other hotels and catering to guests staying multiple nights, not 50+ arrivals and departures every day.

Cons

Benefits for self +3 dependents were expensive compared to salary, fewer opportunities for advancement in a smaller company and select service environment. Little room to learn about industry outside of rooms operations.
