      Pros

      Sense of running your own property; interaction and bldg relations with customers; helping customers achieve their needs in storage

      Cons

      mgmt micro-manages; mgmt beats us up to do more to gain profit for themselves, while suppressing our true abilities to help them in a team effort toward the goals of growth; the hypocracy of mgmt giving us praises and pats on back for all our hard work knowing full well that their motives appear more of personal gain for themselves

      Pros

      Most coworkers were cool. Given a lot of responsibility. They generally leave you alone to run the store how you see fit.... as long as it's working.

      Cons

      Worked almost every Saturday. Constant mystery shops. Unreasonable expectations from management. Store performance is based on stupid measurements rather than important things like rentals, revenue, promotional use, merchandise sales, etc. Upper management always finds something to complain about. Your store can put up great numbers in every important financial category and they'll still complain.

      Supportive and inclusive place to work with grets benefits

      Pros

      The entire team is very supportive and willing to help with any problems or questions you have. They offer great benefits (401k, health insurance, bonuses, pto) and, maybe best of all, they respect your free time. They will work to promote you if they see that you're interested and if you are generally good at what you do.

      Cons

      Customers can be rude and they'll direct their anger and/or bad attitude at you. However, unfortunately, that's a part of customer service. There is some light pressure to convert at least 80% of customers into buying insurance. KPI numbers are very important to them so there is also some light pressure to meet certain numbers. You only work with other person in the office, or by yourself at times, so it can get monotonous sometimes.
