It's pretty casual and easy going

The hours are great and depending on your district or DM it can be a pretty easy and casual job.

Cons

Working every saturday, it seems like every other week there a new change as far as policies and duties. Making calls in the required time allow can be stressful. Also some of the people you work with can be lazy. Oh and most importantly, it's all about who you know and who likes you if you want to get promoted.

Extra Space is a great employer and an incredible place to work. They are extremely focused on the betterment of the company and of the culture. The executive team is truly passionate about the development of their employees and growing the company. The Learning and Development department is full of compassionate, devoted employees and is being directed by an amazing individual that cares about each one of her learning managers. I highly suggest working for Extra Space, especially L&D! * Competitive pay * Professional management * HUGE growth potential * Paid travel * Bonus potential * Fast paced * Lots of change * Great training * Financial transparency

Pros

The Incentive program is fair for the most part. The people that work there are great to be around. The company shows a caring nature for all employees.

Cons

While the District Managers for the most part are good there are some that feel they can make the rules up as they go along. One DM would fire people just to get rid of them and no matter what the people say about her obvious dislike for some people she will find whatever reason to fire them even if it was false.
