Guaranteed 40 hrs a week Sundays off plus 1 weekday off Paid milage and travel time if you cover other stores Possible apartment with store manager position

Cons

Days off are not usually in a row Limited Store manager positions with apartment Most store managers do not have apartments If you do gain a store with an apartment, they give you a raise just to take your apartment out of your pay. Very little in raises. Cents. Not dollars

Pros

AMAZING culture, hybrid schedules, supportive coworkers, great management that trusts you. Not micromanaging at all. Laid back but professional culture. Top leadership is very open and shares information in All Hands. Answered some tough questions from employees as well. DEI program. They develop their people and promote from within. Live and standby core values. Free fruit, snacks, and drinks. Culture of recognition and teamwork. Great benefits and pay. Overall I am so happy with my decision to join #teamextraspace.

Cons

Bit of a drive for me, but it is a hybrid schedule so it isn't so bad. Not a drive for those in SLC or Utah counties.

Pros

Extra Space is a phenomenal place to work. As the largest public company in Utah, and with more locations nationally than Chick Fil A, it's constantly changing and evolving. They're cutting-edge with their tech. They have a strong management group. They treat their employees right! They've also increased salaries in the past 12 months

Cons

A few top executives have old-school approaches to hybrid work and generally oppose it. However, hybrid is still an option.
