Data networking as a category is pretty mature but Extreme is in the midst of re-shaping how users can and should leverage their network to compete more effectively. That represents a pretty cool opportunity to break with traditional convention and try something new.

Cons

Everyone says they want change, that does not mean everyone actually embraces change if they have to re-think a long established process or belief. This is especially true as networking moves to the cloud in a SaaS type model.

Good platform for freshers and one can have many technologies to learn.

Cons

since the team works in horizontal model, each one has to understand all protocols and its behavior to support all upper layer applications and lower layers programming and not very good method as developers dont get knowledge completely for working protocol.
