There are two cultures at this company

Pros

The non finance side seems to be laid back and the CEO seems to believe in treating employees well. Some of the people are friendly.

Cons

The finance side under CFO Remy is utterly toxic and awful. He treats management like trash and they in turn treat their reports the same way. The saying attitude reflects leadership applies here. Onboarding is non existent. No work/life balance. When I left employees had not received raises in two years because the company couldn't afford it. There is constant threat of layoff due to new acquisitions and restructuring. When the company has a bad quarter they lay off hundreds of people to make up for it.

Extreme Networks Response

Thank you for providing us your feedback. We are building a feedback culture and hope that it allows employees to voice their concerns in a safe and helpful way. It's an on-going effort. Many of our leaders encourage feedback and Remi is one of them. It sounds like you didn't have an avenue to share your concerns while employed with us. Again, it's an on-going effort. We are pleased to hear from many current employees who feel the company's culture and direction is going in a positive direction.

Extreme Networks will Suck Your Soul

Pros

The only Pro to Extreme is if you like not working go there and just get paid. This is the exact culture they have at this place.

Cons

Senior management keeps things under wraps so you do not have visibility of their strategy and roadmap. Extreme Networks culture is they lie down for all estaff and c suite , and engineer employees. Everyone else does not matter. They often over look their own employees for someone who has no clue on what their doing during promotions. Extreme Networks will give you all the work with no credit or title. You have to demand or beg for a promotion to get one. Management often times has no idea what our workflows are. Life at extreme networks is like living in high school dramas. No room for growth what so ever. They don’t have enough money to pay you.

Pros

Nothing to mention as pros. I prefer to leave it blank here

Cons

- Poor salary, no hikes - Takes surveys from employees but never tries to correct what the survey points to - poor bonus - frequent lay-offs - no R&D - Instead of R&D they keep on acquiring companies which struggles and then layoff the employees.
