Extron Electronics reviews

Extron has outdated 1960s-70s culture, and is too bureaucratic. Also HR is unnecessarily strict and unapproachable. Read the other reviews and they are pretty much accurate. I was lucky to have a good manager but he didn't have much control over our performance reviews or promotions or salary increments. Everything has to go through the HR lady who isn't very fair and blocks promotions if she doesn't like you. She's also technically incompetent, many times she meddles into issues that have nothing to do with her and messes up workflow between sales and other departments and sales is left to answer to customers. I wouldn't recommend working here unless you are very desperate. If you can successfully get to work here, make sure you come to work early and stay quiet, do not try to be a wise guy, make sure to learn all the products and just keep your head down. Get the job experience and get out. I was let go recently but I'm glad I'm out. Covid-19 has affected the company badly and many good people were let go in May 2020.

old cubicles/ working place, low salary, no bonuses, no cafeteria in the office and no opportunities to buy something nearby, far from train stations. European managers are not decision-makers and some managers are not interested in their work and employees From March till now a lot of people are made redundant because of the corona crisis. It looks like company has big problems.
