Pros

Well paying and great benefits, relocation, health insurance, etc. programs for new employees engage the new hire crowd. There is a job rotation system that helps you see a lot of the company and not get bored at one job

Cons

Overall, the atmosphere of this company is certainly unique. There is definitely an Exxon mobile environment and culture. Significant hierarchy and chain of command thoughts make solving problems occasionally more time consuming Than necessary.

Way Too Top Heavy

Pros

Some of the most brilliant minds in their respective fields. Great training possibilities.

Cons

Unbelievably top heavy in management. Amazing anything gets done with all the rules and regulations. One of the richest companies on the planet because they are penny-pinching cheap when it comes to funding the labs. Managemnet gets promotions and bonuses while technicians have to justify their existence.

Pros

Safety is first and above everything Controlls are next, and all over the place Best place to learn, lots of experience folks around Very structured methodology New facilities are good, full of technologies to help you be efficient and mobile

Cons

You are encourage to be the best, but you are paid above the average Ranking system, there is always a winner (pre-selected?), and the opposite: so, the team spirit is not that much. New facilities, everything is in there to keep you in, feels like a POW camp; you are free to walk as you walk inside the fence. There is nothing around.
