Managers use this non-transparency as an excuse for non-competitive pay increases after being hired. Unhealthy culture where colleagues view each other as competitors and will act in a negative manner at times to seek to be ranked above each other for raises and promotions. For U.S. based employees, many jobs appear to be migrating overseas. There has been high turnover which has impacted the culture.
