Pros

ExxonMobil is a well structured company, it has the highest standards for safety (personnel and facilities operations), it is committed to produce and deliver high quality products and do business in a transparency way with customers, governments and shareholders.

Cons

Exxonmobil has a slow career path program, mainly because its horizontal matrix structure, therefore, the career path take a long time to get to get to the executive level. It also has a slow pace to implement technology improvements, because there is a culture/policy of minimize the risks of technology bugs or failures, therefore a new technology take more time to be adopted.

Pros

Pay Free coffee Good location Free parking

Cons

People difficult to work with. Arrogant attitude among long term, permanent employees. Temps are treated like minions there to do the bidding of permenent employees. Work too easy for education required. Safety program is excessive and wastes a lot of time for nothing.

Pros

Good salary. Hard to get fired. Nice offices. Yoga lessons. Discount in nearby gyms.

Cons

No career growth. Boring tasks. They hire you with a good salary, but as years go by the salary becomes not so good. You become more senior, but the salary doesn't grow. Sometimes they hire people that has just graduated and don't have any work experience and pay them more or less what they pay to the staff that has been in the company for five years.
