Pros

-make a lot of money -don’t work more than 40 hours - retirement is good if 20 plus years with company

Cons

-company culture is terrible -people are not team players because of ranking system -processes and levels of management are excessive -no technical help in the same time zone to help with anything in a timely manner. Techs, IT, accounting, etc. -will get passed on for promotion in favor of 25 year old with little skills who can boost diversity and inclusion or is the best “yes” man around.

Pros

Was able to travel around the world for assignment. High pay and benefits for travelers on behalf of the company.

Cons

Difficult to fit family into the box for the company. Not enough control of your career.

Pros

Great place to work, with a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and innovation. You get to collaborate with experienced teams, tackle real operational challenges, and grow your skills. The company also offers good benefits, career development opportunities, and a balanced roster schedule, making it a rewarding and supportive work environment.

Cons

Performance ranking system can be tough because it ranks employees against each other rather than on individual merit. It sometimes feels unclear and stressful, with job security, bonuses, and promotions tied to where you stand. While it rewards top performers, it can create unnecessary pressure and workplace politics.
