Pros

Work with intelligent people Nice campus

Cons

If you're a woman in the sciences - be prepared to be given organizational tasks, be told on multiple occasions that you're there to increase the diversity quota, and often be the only person in the room and the youngest person in the room. If you have a PhD that is not in Petroleum Engineering - be prepared for just awful trainings, unhelpful colleagues, and unrealistic expectations. You will fail.

Pros

Great people to work with. Benefits and compensation are okay.

Cons

Incredibly conservative. A growth mindset is a foreign concept. Constructive conflict is avoided -- meetings are often an echo chamber. Decision making is slow. Morale and future does not seem bright.
