Pros

You get fantastic support from colleagues and management at FDM which helps you to reach your potential. Additionally the company has a great culture where hard work is recognised and rewarded, and colleagues enjoy socialising together outside of work.

Cons

I have been very satisfied with my experience working with FDM Group and believe the company offers a very valuable opportunity for IT graduates to gain onsite work experience.

Pros

I enjoy my job. As a trainer FDM has given me the opportunity to broaden the subjects I teach. I have been able to develop my knowledge and skills in areas I have wanted to move into for a long time. This role offers a much greater variety than my previous training roles. Each trainee who joins the FDM Academy in Manchester is coached in all the skills they need to get a placement. This coaching is tailored to the individuals requirements, we receive a lot of positive feedback and thanks, which is rewarding.

Cons

Seasonal peaks and troughs. We are really busy in the summer/autumn teaching lots of new graduates. In the winter/spring it is a bit quiet.

Pros

Having gone through the training stream it became very apparent that FDM rewards the amount of dedication and effort you put into training. I started the training stream as I meant to go on trying to gain as much knowledge as I could whilst always looking for additional opportunities to learn. FDM provided me with these opportunities and also noticed the amount of effort I was putting into my training. Overall, I don't think I would be in a such a good position without the help and training of FDM.

Cons

I can't really think of any downsides to working at FDM, I'm happy with my job and I love working here.
