      Pros

      FHLBC was a great place to work. Training and development is important and they invest a lot into their people. The opportunities are there, you just need to raise your hand. I unfortunately did not take full advantage of everything they had to offer and did not appreciate it at the time. This is something I came to realize and regret after I left and saw how other businesses operate. FHLBC is a place to grow and learn from others, with established mentorship programs and approachable c-level executives. They are on top of emerging industry trends and were ahead of DEI before it became ubiquitous across other large corporations. So many great, smart people. They hire the best. I miss working for them. If I knew then what I know now, I would have taken more if it in.
