Pros

A great place to start your career, but most people only stay about a year.

Cons

Pay is the lowest i have ever seen. No room for growth. Management will do whatever they can to keep you in your current position and are very reluctant to give out title promotions and raises to anyone but themselves. A lot of very unfair things happened in terms of hiring. Management takes advantage of junior team and ignores all cries for help.

Pros

Thursday lunches and bagels on Wednesday.

Cons

-No on-boarding -Senior staff only cares about themselves -Very LOW pay -No organization on any account -There is no culture in the office -Your manager is more like an overbearing helicopter parent -Get into the 21st century, stop using PC's -Only 10 vacation day -Summer Fridays shouldn't be a thing (they'll make you work anyway) -It takes so long to make any decisions due to the many managers it has to go through -HR is a joke. They ignore your emails and won't follow up on questions or request -No clear growth path -Not enough AE's and SAE's so AAE's feel very lost and are always thrown under the bus

Some business units may be ok, but mine wasn't

Pros

There are some wonderful and very talented people at the agency

Cons

There is no consistency across FINN's business units, and as an agency that is rapidly growing via acquisitions, your experience will vary drastically based on which team you are a part of. My experience was incredibly troubling, exhausting, frustrating, and disappointing. Our whole team was heavily overworked and struggling with the constant pressure to generate new business (regardless of title). Our ability to get raises, promotions and bonuses was held over our heads to "motivate" us to bring in business, and the compensation we were receiving was often below industry standards. We spent an unreasonable amount of time being stuck in the middle of inter-office politics. The environment was almost internally competitive between different business units. You may all work for the same company, but it still feels like you're operating at a boutique firm fighting for business......and the opponents you’re up against sometimes happen to work at FINN, too. You'll work nights, weekends, and throughout your PTO if you even are able to get around to taking it. The unnecessary stress put on us by our group lead alone would be a justified reason to leave. However, that ongoing anxiety paired with the feeling of unfulfillment that comes with delivering sub-par work because you are extremely over-extended really makes the job feel not worth it. It's a shame b/c there are great people doing great work across the agency, but the risk of ending up under a group like the one I was a part of........is not one I would recommend taking.
