Pros

You can learn a lot about different aspects of the industry. You are given a large amount of responsibility as well as independence - so the work and timelines are solely up to you.

Cons

There is the potential to feel 'isolated' in your work, and the independence could lead you to feel aimless, and it appear that management has no interest in your development and career path.

Pros

Slow moving, high pressure job with good benefits but low pay

Cons

Low pay, slow promotions, tons of meetings without any decisions. Lots of turnover. Upper management has no incentive to reduce turnover.

Pros

The work is interesting if you like finance and trading/markets ... You'll actually like and become friends with some of your co-workers

Cons

Management seems disinterested in working, but they always have time to chat you up about non-work ... pay is ok, but could be higher ... Loss of key regulatory surveillance contracts puts long-term viability of CES in jeopardy
