Pros

A terrific place to work. FINRA has one of the best benefits packages, competitive salaries, and interesting work. Get to understand how Wall Street works from the other side. The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), is the largest non-governmental regulator for all securities firms doing business in the United States. All told, FINRA oversees nearly 5,000 brokerage firms, about 173,000 branch offices and more than 677,000 registered securities representatives. FINRA has approximately 3,000 employees and operates from Washington, DC, and New York, NY, with 15 District Offices around the country.

Cons

It is a non-profit organization. The salaries are competitive and the bonuses can be generous, but still lilliputian compared to Wall Street.
