      Pros

      The organization really cares about protecting the investing community, their core mission. The benefits provided by the organization is one of the best in the industry.

      Cons

      Since the organization is focused on regulation and enforcement, innovation and creativity have long lead times.

      Compensation is fair. Benefits are good.

      Cons

      Management isn't always very forthcoming with new information. The physcial work environment (offices, cubes, etc.) are sub-standard.

      Pros

      - Excellent coworkers and managers: talented and amiable, both the staff and management made it a pleasure to go to work. - Work/life balance was respected, and management was very open to taking time off for personal or family reasons, as well as working around schedules for necessities like doctor's appointments. - Pace of work was quick and challenging, but never overwhelming. - Management was very open to letting employees experience new processes or switching around to related sections to broaden their experiences.

      Cons

      - Compensation, comparing to industry average, is a bit on the low side; but is not shockingly so. - Internal tech support was spotty: some techs were knowledgeable and helpful, while others seemed unable or unwilling to do any work whatsoever.
