      Pros

      Stable employment Excellent coworkers in the trenches but this is changing fast Company car - depending on role Pension but you will earn every dime through long grueling hours and constant belittling by management

      Cons

      1. Micromanagers galore 2. Rampant Nepotism/ Favoritism 3. No career advancement 4. Senior Management is grossly incompetent- this group lost billions in the last soft market and kept their jobs / got promoted by blaming underwriters for their awful decisions. Universally loathed by the rank and file.

      Great Benefits, Poor Management

      Pros

      The company itself does offer amazing benefits and that's probably the only reason people stay. Personally, I loved the work I did there as well. Annual bonuses, lots of perks.

      Cons

      Extremely poor management at the department levels. A bunch of micromanagers who only protect each other, not their employees. Very poor work/life balance. They think holiday parties make up for extremely poor treatment of the employees. Managers are not flexible or easy going. And while the company offers great benefits, the salary is very low. Annual bonuses are great, but outside of this, there is absolutely no employee recognition/awards for good work. They also claim they're big on diversity, but I have never seen anything diversity related outside of an email.

      Pros

      FM values hard work and those who put their hands up to do stretch jobs. FM also provides great training, specifically for engineering, All coworkers were kind and helpful.

      Cons

      DEI push is over the top (I fall into a benefiting category). Actions taken by upper management do not match corporate messaging on inclusivity, specifically around religion. Pay is substantially less than industry peers.
