The IS Managers are quite good but the company has some primitive policies regarding employees It follows a structured approach and framework towards the system.

Cons

I would not call the company dynamic as said it follows a structured approach which can include laid back policies.

Pros

I have seen employees move throughout the company no matter if the started as an administrator, and underwriter, or an engineer. FM supports and allows you to choose your own career path.

Cons

Promotions are political and dependent on time in a position versus performance. The salaries are not as high as some competitors.

Pros

Very stable company with a rock solid business model. A lot of lateral movement is possible across departments. Good attitude towards professional development. Good bonus policy based on the performance of the company as a whole.

Cons

Very biased towards "long-timers". You're treated as the new kid on the block for a long time. The pay is a bit low compared to IT positions in the Boston are. A lot of levels to get through before even a simple change can be made to IT assets.
