Pros

I loved working with FP Mailing, it was a very good experience for me. During that time we were having very positive growth and I learned a lot. All of the staff was very dedicated and worked hard.

Cons

I really have nothing bad to say. It was only a personal/family reason for me to leave.

Pros

The people that work there are great. The hours are very good. They have great outside of work activities for the employees and their families.

Cons

The industry is dying, no one is mailing anymore. The pricing in the market is not the best. They do not have the resources of some of their competition.

FP is a hard place to survive both financially and emotionally. Just don't do it.

Pros

The employees are great people who really want to help customers. It is very easy to sell your product when you only have a handfull of competitors to worry about. Comp plans can be very nice when targets are hit. Benefit packages are very good but base pay is not good. $12.50 avg sales pay hourly base plus commission.

Cons

Management is more worried about a missing email address on a contract than shipping out a $20,000 revenue deal. Operational issues constantly cause delay or prevent orders from being processed. Extremely disfunctional group of people holding high ranking positions. Promotions NEVER happen for those who excel at their jobs. You will be punished for being "too good" as they never consider you for promotion because you can't be replaced. Truly talented, young individuals are not compensated or appreciated. In fact if you hit commission targets one year they will change your comp plan next year for " incentive". Directors and Managers act childish.

Thanks for your review of FP. As of 2016 we have restructured FP and have placed new leaders in upper management positions. If you currently work at FP, we hope that you have noticed all of the efforts the new CEO has put in place to make FP a great place to work. If you not longer work at FP, we wish you the best on your future endeavors.
