Pros

The residents are their greatest asset. Not many pros for FPI to brag about.

Cons

They only promote and support the young and inexperienced staff. Most staff reflect the barbie doll image. HR has allowed inappropriate staff behavior and do not follow up on grievances, preferring to fire those that do complain about their work environment. There are numerous pending lawsuits or complaints regarding fair housing practices when advertising pricing and amenities. Community Directors are allowed to pick and choose residents, based on whether they like the resident. Training is online and no personal teachings outside the office. Pay is horrible.

Pros

FPI has a great culture. Everyone is a family here. You will not find this in any other property management company.

Cons

FPI is not located in all states. There is no 401k matching which would be great but perhaps they will offer that in the future?

Pros

I had a few great supervisors who stood up to the bullying upper management on the affordable side. They normally have decent properties.

Cons

I was with them for a long time. If upper management doesn't like you, they try to bully your supervisor to do it. The upper management is CLUELESS. Especially in affordable. They lie to the owners and give ridiculous expectations. They over promise the owners and stress the cd's. They keep buying properties and don't have the staff or compliance department to cover them. They hiring clueless regionals. It's all in who likes you, not your job. They have so many lawsuits right now that it's ridiculous. They have so many jobs available because they are terrible to work for.
