Cons

Consultant driven organization, sales team is not respected or regarded as integral to success of the organization. Weak sales/pm leadership.

Pros

Intense, exacting, and detail oriented. You will learn a lot at FTI if you want to. Definitely focus on portable skills that will help you garner some earning potential and get out of FTI ASAP. Get the skills and the get out. If you don't come into FTI with an exit plan you're going to REALLY regret it.

Cons

Exploitative and doesn't care about anyone other than MDs and SMDs at all. expect to be used up, worn out, and get paltry raises compared to the same skill sets when utilized in tech, finance, or even a half way decent consulting shop (like Deloitte). Also the CEO and his team are goofballs who don't know what they're doing and spend more time navel gazing than trying to make the company more competitive.

Good benefits, good salary, decent support from management.

Cons

Big corporations always have that layer of inert mass that makes it hard to get things done sometimes. Culture is a little stiff.
