      Pros

      One of the best things about working at FTI Consulting is the type of work we do. Our teams are involved in some of the most high profile cases around the world. We are called in to help very well known companies restructure, work through litigation issues, and make changes. Another great attribute for FTI is its people. Most seem to have an incredible balance of work and play. They are extremely smart individuals who understand there is more to life than just work!!!

      Cons

      One of the biggest downsides to working at FTI is that the company is not as well known outside of the industry. Because of this, it takes a lot longer to explain what it is we do to potential employees.

      It has a good compensation and benefits package. You will be working with the top economists in the world and you will learn a lot.

      Cons

      There is not much in the way of work/life balance. You have to get an advanced degree in order to advance professionally.

      Opportunity to work on a variety of projects around the world. Having the chance to work alongside several different types of groups, give you the chance to learn new business segments.

      Cons

      Politics. Growth Potential Limited. Management not concerned with the well being of their employees. Group leaders do not provide clear leadership through organization.
